Hello everyone and happy holidays.
As many of you may have noticed, I've been working on "The List" which is an enormous directory to the entire 'Verse as expanded by the maps in this post (those maps are actually soon to be updated slightly due to typos and other minor errors). Well, that giant project is finished now (although there are plenty of worlds to explore and add notes for). Feel free to read every single word, browse it, search through for a few points of interest, or ignore it entirely. It's there as a resource should you want it.
Now, onto business, the true purpose of this thread is to announce future projects. These will come in two phases:
1) Most of the informational and administrative threads on the site will be overhauled. With the change to the new version of pro-boards a lot of code in those very complex threads got messed up (although we fixed some of it). We've also decided it that some threads should be updated and altered to better fit our site's individuality. Everything from the rules to the basic character application might be changed over the course of the next month.
2) I'm going to personally go crazy with creating informational resources. Some of you might remember from BSH all the threads I had ranging from BSG history to card games, the basics of forum RP to foreign languages. I'm going to work on a similar project here.
So, in addition to merely announcing it in this thread, I'd also like to ask you all what you'd like to see in the forum of informational threads. For example threads detailing: the differences between Core, Border, and Rim classifications; Alliance military ranks; historical review of the Exodus from Earth or the Unification War; and what exactly a Hufflepuff is. So what do you think could use some more explaining?
