Jakarta is also known as 'The Cliff City' because of its iconic location against the Daise Cliffs of Osiris. Perhaps the most popular draw to this city is the Museum of Mu'at, but its vastly held judicial knowledge can be matched by the three hundred meter natural waterfall that runs through the city center. The Daise Falls span six hundred feet across and fall nearly one thousand feet down to the basin, making it the largest dropping waterfall in the 'Verse.
The O'Meay River running from the northern mountains converges with the Great Dupree River just seven miles from Jarkarta, making the waterfall a year round wealth of clean power for the city. Great suspension bridges can offer a view of the Gasian Ocean just beyond the Daise Fall's outlet. If you're in the mood for some fine cuisine, then be sure to visit the regal Serpentine Restaurant that is built into the cliffs. There are private balconies from which you can dine while enjoying an awing canvas of the Gasian Ocean combined with the Falls only seventy feet away, a spectacle sure to make any occasion memorable.
Jakarta itself is firmly under Alliance controlled, and its power plants supply energy to more than a quarter of Osiris. Other notable aspects of Jakarta are a fantastic school system, great public parks, and numerous recreational facilities. Jakarta is also home to some of the best law enforcement in the 'Verse, and the crime rate is one of the lowest in the system.
