If you're in Divantra for an opera and you have a few days to burn, you might board the Opulas for an adventure. This 'old west' casino features one of the quarterly high stakes poker matches put on by the Galactic Gaming Association each year, and it also plays host to the championship series once every four years. Whether you're a high stakes player or a sip and risk card shark there is a seat for you here.
The Opulas is a large, phenomenal recreation of an 1800's paddle steamer from Earth-that-Was. It floats down the Vochakina River, launching just outside the capital city, and sails on a three day journey to the town of Lakorat forty miles south. Most of the year the water of the Vochakina is too cold to swim in, but it does offer some fine fishing and should be taken advantage of if you sail with the Opulas.
The on board casino also offers blackjack, roulette, liars dice, craps, towers, under and over seven, silverspade, slots and many more games for your enjoyment.
