Also known as Desmond's Domain. This is the place where every gun nuts wet dream can come true, with a man crazy enough to make it happen. Need something blown up? Desmond is your man, here's a show of some of his work.
Note: Any ammunition that Desmond makes is caseless, no policing of brass.
Earbuds
These earbuds were invented by Desmond for use by the PMC, so long as the wearers are on the same planet they can communicate with each other. They’re comfortable to wear and impossible to see from the outside, they can work from outside the wearer’s ear but they have a limited range and must be held close to the ear. They can pick up the user’s speech and sounds from around the wearer. Each one contains a built in tracking device in case someone goes missing, and they can work in conjunction with bugs and wiretaps.
M3AR Assault Rifle
These assault rifles were designed and built by Desmond years before he ever met Davis, they were perfected on his third try. They were only recently manufactured on a larger scale for the Peerless PMC. They fire a standard 5.56.45mm round contained in thirty round clips or 100 round drums, and is able to switch between semi-auto, three round burst, and fully auto. The stock is collapsible for comfort, and a scope can be attached to the railing on top of the rifle easily. The final piece to this masterpiece weapon is a built in four shot 30mm grenade launcher. A fifth shot can be loaded after the initial four, and the first one has been racked. A separate trigger for the grenade launcher was built into the magazine housing, complete with trigger guard. The handle on the rifle, and the mag well, both have finger and palm print ID readers. Only those cleared to fire them are able to.
M5F Flamer
Desmond designed these one day after a dream he had, it took him five tries to get it right. It’s a flamethrower with a maximum range of twenty five feet, it uses mil-spec fuel to create its flame and can fire for thirty seconds continuously. What more is there to say? It sets things on fire, and they stay on fire. The grip has a palm print ID reader, only those cleared to use them can fire the fiery death.
M6K Stun Knife
This one Desmond designed because Davis asked him to build something that didn’t kill, it took him six tries to make it. It looks like a simple single edged knife, however it is far more than a simple knife. The reverse edge of the blade is a stun gun with a three foot range. Now you might be askin’, why not just carry a taser? Well, this saves you some weight and some room. Plus you have the utility usage of a knife along with your stun gun. See? No lethal intentions went into the creation of this blade… It is not balanced for throwing.
Desmond Vision
This eye piece fits over the head like an eye patch, it can be fitted for either the right or left eye depending on wearer’s preference. The patch itself does not restrict vision at all, it has a camera that projects images back into the eye of the wearer. It has four vision modes as well, normal vision, light amplifying night vision, binocular mode, and thermal vision. It also has the ability to connect with the earpieces and help to track the locations of other team members as needed, this can be coordinated with base. It comes in one color, basic black.
M2SR Sniper Rifle
This sniper rifle is a more recent invention of Desmond’s, the scope switches between regular, night, and thermal vision. It has a six round magazine and is built with a bipod, it is a bolt action rifle and is integrally suppressed. It fires a .408 caliber round, other types of rounds can be used, tranq or barium tracking rounds for example. The rifle was built for nothing short of accuracy as long as the shooter is well trained they will reliably hit their mark. Like all his weapons, this sniper rifle is ID locked.
M5SM Submachine Gun
This firearm was designed for concealed carry when more firepower was needed, a suppressor can be attached as needed, however it does limit the concealability of the weapon. It is chambered in 9mm rounds, and the clips hold thirty rounds each. As with all of the weapons Desmond builds for the Peerless PMC, they are ID locked. It comes equipped with a pistol grip and three modes of fire, semi-auto, three round burst, and fully auto.
M4SG Shotgun
This shotgun was designed by Desmond to fulfill a simple purpose, combine the convenience of a sawed off double barrel, with the capacity of a pump action shotgun. It holds eight 12 gauge shotgun shells, the forward grip acts as the pump to rack a new shell. He had capacity, now he needed the convenience, so he made it a bullpup. With both problems solved all he had left to do was put in the ID lock and he was finished. It’s a simple scatter gun.
M1P Pistol
Desmond built this one based off of an older model pistol, he upgraded it to fire 10mm rounds and to support a suppressor when needed. The magazine holds fifteen rounds, and the grip naturally has a built in ID lock.
M4BP Rifle
Desmond designed this bullpup for the simple reason that it had the combination of portability and the stopping power of an assault rifle. It comes complete with a rail system so it can be customized to the wielder’s choice, fires a 7.62x51mm round in a twenty-five round magazine. It has been threaded for a suppressor and is equipped with an ID scanner, along with the ability to choose rate of fire, fully auto, semi-auto, and three round burst.
M7HR Heavy Rifle
Desmond came up with this for one reason only, to fulfill the need for a heavy weapon that was portable. It fires a 7.62x51mm round in a 100 round barrel clip. Just under the sight is an ammo indicator, and every fifth round is a tracer round to track aim. It has one hell of a kick, but packs enough of a punch for that not to matter. A few short bursts from this and most anyone is down for the count, unless they have some heavy duty body armor. Even then they might have some bruises or broken bones, the handle has a built in ID scanner.
