So I've been planning this for a while, and I'm coming back to it now that we're getting ready to hit Sweethome, and they have Alliance goods.
We might be wantin' some armor. I reread Onas' old thread about it, and I like his idea about using ODST armor from the HALO series:
So here's my thing, what do we want the armor to do other than protect us from bullets/knives? The only real extra thing I've included so far is a HUD that will be standard. What I'd like is for everyone who's interested to include something that they'd like to see in the armor. I've already talked to Onas, so I have his input.
My inclusion: Is something called the van der Waals force, it would be in the gloves and boots of the armor and allow us to climb walls like Spider-Man. It has restrictions, if there's sediment on whatever we're climbing, we have to clean off our gloves and boots every so often or else we ain't stickin' to the wall or whatever anymore. Also, whatever we're climbing has to be able to support our weight, or else we all fall on our asses. Best part? This tech is something we're workin' on today. So it's really not too far of a stretch for all you realists out their. It has other uses than just for our armor too, so it's muti-purpose, but we can talk about that later.
Onas' inclusion: Zip
Roger's inclusion: Roger wants the armor to be pressurized for temporary use in the vacuum of space. I'm thinking about... ten minutes of air max.
Hannii's inclusion: She wants a Falcon Punch. I have yet to figure out how to make that one work. But I have an idea.
Anyone else have suggestions, does Onas want to expand on what I've explained for his (Cause we all know you're a detail whore.)? Speak now, cause after we're finished with Sweethome, I'm designing and producing the armor.
