The HeistAlright, so here's the set up. From the Cobalt base on Sweethome we find a trail to Jong Li, the banking capital of the 'Verse. Marcus Lee has secret accounts there and whatnot. It's where all his dirty money goes and it's also what funds a lot of his personal operations. Needless to say, hitting his money will really hurt him so that's where we're going next.
This is technically a bank heist, but not in the traditional sense where we run in with ski masks, fire a few shots in the air, and pile money into big sacks with dollar signs on them. This is a high tech institution with most currency being securely stored electronically. The only tangible things here are those items deposited in special boxes and vaults (e.g. the Mona Lisa, Jimmy Hoffa, old disney movies, etc.).
We're going to try and involve as many PCs as possible in this. Hopefully we can reduce confusion and help everyone know the plan as best as possible. What follows is a rough plan that will hopefully become more developed in the next few days.
Step 1 - The CrewThe Specialist - We pick up Sink/Sparrow's character (Charlotte Carter) on our way there. She has worked with the Peerless in the past and is know as an expert in infiltration.
Recovery - Elijah goes on a montage to get over his incompetence on Sweethome, I mean stab wounds.
Persephone - We stop there on our way into White Sun.
Step 2 - Casing the JointJong Li is all about security (more about the city can be read
here) and this building in particular has top notch everything. We don't want to go in blind but we also can't scout it out by traditional means (maybe even our satellite is blocked because the building in lined with lead or kryptonite or something). The building itself is guarded by Cobalt mercs (convenient huh?). Makes sense to trust the bank that you yourself are helping to protect.
Well, we're not just going to run in blind, but we can't recon it in the traditional sense. The solution is Kalli. She is the daughter and heir to the Bernett corporate empire although she has run away to be a ship mechanic instead. We're going to dress her up and send her out there to be herself. "My father is considering transferring his accounts from Mercer Brothers to another institution. Their standards are simply inadequate and their clientele had begun to include the lowliest of people."
Thus, Kalli acts as her father's representative and asks to see the "bank" and the security that would be protecting their wealth. Kalli is accompanied basically by anyone who wants to go (WITHIN REASON!). She'd need at least one bodyguard but could have up to three, and a personal assistant or two would be a nice touch. Throughout the tour, her entourage would be the ones actually taking note of what they see while Kalli is primarily focused on playing her part.
Step 3 - The Plan/Covering our AssesBlowing up a remote off-the-books base in the Rim is one thing. Pulling off a heist in the Core from one of the leading banks of the 'Verse is another thing entirely. Even if we escape, it's not the kind of thing that will be easy to escape from in the long run. Thus, we're going to do our best not only to erase any evidence that would tie the heist to us, but even to try and hide the fact that there even was a heist.
How do we do this? Well, the plan is simple... we blow up the entire building. There is this group "Liber8" (which Pacifica has been working on for another plot down the line) which is anti-corporation. They have some extreme views and are known to take serious action, serious enough for some branches of the organization to cross into terrorism. After we get out of the building with all we want, we're going to bring the entire thing down erasing all evidence of what happened and what was taken. The blame goes to Liber8 as a political statement and act of terrorism rather than a robbery by a third party, us.
Step 4 - The Heist itselfIt's complicated so we'll split it into "teams". This is a first writing so if you are not already assigned a team then speak up and we'll do what we can to put you where you want to be.
Infiltration TeamWe've gotten a bit of a look at the security system through the Kalli ruse, but that's hardly a key to the door. We still need to get our people inside, take out some guards, hack some security, and take some shit. How exactly we're doing this? Not exactly decided yet. This team includes:

Demolition TeamRemember Step 3? Well, this place needs to go down and it needs to be ready to blow about the time the infiltration team is finished, not much time. This team needs to do their own share of clearing certain areas of the building and planting strategic charges. This team includes:
Desmond, Rio, and possibly some people switching over to this team from the infiltration team as things progress.
Escape Team Part 1Jong Li is a city of public transportation or no transportation, a pedestrian paradise. Any normal escape would put us at a serious disadvantage unless we can all disappear into a crowd of people or hope that when you sit in the subway there aren't going to be cops waiting at the next station. The solution are bikes which we'll have smuggled in to meet us for the escape. This team includes:

Escape Team Part 2Getting out of the immediate vicinity isn't quite enough. We need to get offworld before anyone realizes we're not a bunch of terrorists and/or starts killing/capturing Peerless crew. Now Jong Li has very restricted private transportation not only on the streets but in the air too. However, there are still means of transport if you know where to look. This team finds a nearby corporate ship which they will break into and make ready for the rest of us. Perhaps there will be some pew pew, maybe not. This team includes:

Back of the ShipAlways the most fun. Not everyone gets to go down to the surface, even more so when it's a quiet heist instead of a loud armed assault on a mercenary camp. This team includes:
Pacifica - The satellite won't count for much inside the building itself, but it will count for loads when we're escaping through the streets. Even if she can't see us, Pacificia can also still help coordinate simply by our communications reporting back in, and she will ensure that all teams are keeping on pace with the others. Maybe she also pushes the button to go boom once we all reach safe distance.
