Greenleaf is a smaller planet with a rather large population for the Red Sun system (the third most populous only after Jiangyin and Silverhold).  The planet itself is notable for it's large tropical belt around its equator and the dense that covers the entire world.  The area around the equator is filled with lush jungles and rain-forests.  The areas further toward the poles are equally dense but with temperate forests.

Greenleaf has a thriving lumber industry as might be expected with the entire planet so thoroughly covered in all manner of trees.  However, Greanleaf's chief industry is pharmaceuticals.  The cities of Greenleaf (where the vast majority of the population lives) are dominated by factories producing pharmaceuticals, labs testing these products and experimenting with new methods, and all the support structure required to support them.  Outside the city, the forest is scoured for rare planets with unique properties.  In other areas land is cleared to cultivate these and other vegetation to be harvested for their medicinal purposes.  For the most part, pharmaceuticals dominants the tropical part of the planet and logging dominants the temperate regions.

The dense vegetation across the entire planet means one is limited in landing sites to a formal spaceport or those that someone has specifically cleared for that purpose.  Greenleaf is not a restricted planet in anyway, but a combination of these natural barriers and an attentive air traffic system mean that one cannot easily land on Greanleaf unannounced, and if one attempts to do so they might be met by corporate security forces that are overly protective of their products.
