Other - anything else you'd like to add?
Likes -
- Money - Like most, or at least successful mercenaries, Sio is a lover of money. In her eyes there is nothing quite like finishing a job and cutting that check.
- Smoking - There is nothing quite like a good bid of cancer for your lungs. Sio isn't a chain smoker, but she certainly can enjoy a good bit of tobacco.
- Music - Don't tell a soul but Sio actually has quite a lovely singing voice. If she weren't so damn good at killing and stealing she might have traveled the world as a singer.
- Weaponry - Whether it be guns, knives, whips, or even something as unlikely as a spoon if it can be used as a weapon Sio will enjoy it.
- Alchemy - Or Chemistry, whichever you prefer to call it. Mixing herbs and trial and error is fantastic for poison making, and quite relaxing.
- The Chase - Or the hunt. Sio finds her job invigorating, exciting, and an unending supply of all around fun. Call her an adrenaline junkie, but if it's dangerous she's in.
Dislikes -
- Losing - Sio isn't a big fan of losses, even small ones. Even losing an argument can turn the blond bombshell sour.
- Idle - Sio isn't a fan of being in one place for too long. This could be because her ex-lover would love to see her dead, but just the same she prefers to be on the job.
- Underestimation - Sio can not stand it when people think she is incapable. She has been known to do the impossible just to prove she could.
- Onas - In general she harbors some ill feelings towards the crime lord. For many reasons, one of which is guilt.
- Conscience - Being a mercenary Sio has always prided herself on being able to flip the switch on emotions. However it has become apparent that she does infact have a conscience, and that is very annoying when you're asked to do questionable jobs.
- Background women - Sio has worked hard to be acknowledged as a viable mercenary and assassin. Seeing other women choose the life of a house wife or equally simple lives it really burns her. She feels they only seem to make it harder for women with backbones.
Quirks/Habits -
- Flirt - Sio is a notorious flirt. She enjoys the game. And doesn't mind using people for idle flirtation for entertainment.
- Lighter - Sio has a habit of opening and closing the lid of gifted lighter when making negotiations. She does this more and more the with nerves.
Fears -
- Chickens - A strange, and rather odd fear, but all the same Sio is afraid of chickens. She cannot explain it, nor will she ever try to because she won't admit it either.
- Regret - Sio is afraid of dying with an ounce of regret on her mind. She wants to live life to the fullest, and fix everything she can to the best of her ability.
Secrets - Secretly very lonely. Secretly wants more balance in her life.
Strengths -
- Gunplay - Sio is pretty handy with just about anything with a trigger. If she can't fire it right the first time, you bet the second time she will.
- Poison - Sometimes assassinations need to be quiet, or slowly painful. Poison is the way to go. Sio is good at making and administering poisons as well as things like paralyzes and hallucinogens.
- Demolitions - Sometimes a girl just wants to see some fireworks. She is by no means an expert but she can rig up a nice explosive quite well. If she got some formal training she'd surely ace it.
- Persuasion - Sio has a knack for talking herself out of sticky situations. Usually with a little flirting added on top.
Weaknesses -
- Quitting - Sio doesn't know when to quit. The fact that it hasn't gotten her killed is a miracle. She just can't turn down a dangerous challenge.
- Vain - Sio is beautiful. And she knows it. So wounding her pride when it comes to looks is a bit of an easy target, and its sure to tug on some nerves.
- Stealth - While it's not impossible for her to be stealthy, it is unlikely. Sio likes to make things go boom. She likes the drama of the known hunt, and the rush of being shot at.
- Junkie - Sio is an Adrenaline junkie. Something that will get her killed one day. She longs for that rush. Its the easiest thing to take her mind off of sensitive matters.
- Orders - Sio isn't too keen on following orders. When it comes to a job she can take them and follow them because money is involved. But other than that don't expect her to be kissing your boots.
Talents/Special Abilities -
- Seduction - This is not due to any formal training of any kind. This is just being able to see when someone's oggling her goodies and using it to her advantage.
- Singing - She didn't get the nickname the White Siren for nothing. Sio has a lovely singing voice and it has been rumored that she can put a room into a stupor with a song. Whether this is true or not is up to you to find out.
- Killing - If Siobhan Padraigin wants you dead, you will be.
Aspirations - Make ammends. To be rich. To be the most sought after merc in the verse.
Overall Personality - Siobhan Padraigin is a blond bombshell. She's confident in both her looks and her abilities. Rarely will the young woman turn down a challenge that promises danger. Sio is a total flirt, even her walk is like a constant saunter. Despite being a mercenary, and a well known hit-woman, Sio is actually quite friendly. While she never truly trusts anyone, because lets face it who could trust her, she still manages to be outgoing and at times even sweet. She can be playful, reminding one of a feline. She is very territorial, and isn't afraid to get her hands dirty on the matter.

Your History -
Siobhan Padraigins was born to Sinead Padraigin originally as a curse. Having been the result of a terrible alley attack Sinead was unsure if she wanted to put the little blond child up for adoption or raise her for her own. Luckily she chose to keep the child, and Sio was raised with a mixture of love and resentment. She didn't blame Sio for her "creation" only wished it hadn't happened that way. To Sinead, Sio was a gift, but she wished that she could have chosen a different means to the end.
Sinead did her best to keep her own consummation from her, wanting to spare her beloved daughter from the knowledge. She instead lied and said that her father had died in the war, that he had been a hero and managed to save nearly his entire platoon from a terrible end. Sio never bothered to ask more, not even which side her 'father' had been on. She knew when her mother was lying, even as a child.
Around Sio's 8th birthday her mother married Damien Collins. Not even a year later Sinead was pregnant with her half-brother Patrick. And all seemed to be fine and dandy. Until Sio became a teenager. Like most teenagers she resented authority and acted out, especially against Damien. After a long fought battle Damien decided he was the boss, he was the father, and she would listen to him whether she liked it or not. Sio, being Sio, presented the fact that he was not her father and she didn't give a rats arse what he thought she could or could not do. It was then that Damien spilled the beans about her true father, that he was not a war hero but a criminal that had gotten his grubby paws on her mother.
Sio had assumed something terrible of her father, but that.. was not it. As a result she felt betrayed by her mother and went as far as to throw a punch at Damien. It ended with him calling the law on her and letting her spend a few nights behind bars to 'teach her a lesson.'
Of course what he didn't expect was for Siobhan, who looked like a full fledged woman at 14, to seduce her way to freedom. She refused to return home after that, only visiting her mother when Damien was away on business.
Sio later fell into her line of work, beginning on the very bottom of the totem pole. She stole things for people, and worked with a few other mercenaries who helped to teach her how to shoot and take care of herself in general. And after she knew how to pull the trigger it was time to see if she had the gall to do it. She was given an easy assignment, easy hit.
Ian 'the Snitch' Jones.
A lowlife with no real reason for the hit on his head except he had said the wrong thing to the wrong person. All the same Sio pulled that trigger and watched the life float out of his body in a sea of red. She knew she'd be good at this line of work.
From there her 'career' seemed to take flight. Sio got more and more jobs and began to be one of the most sought after mercenaries. But it was one job in particular that earned her her title of the White Siren. A crime boss wanted information on a local bartender. What he didn't know was the tender was actually the owner as well as a drug lord. The man had hid behind humble beginnings and in general used back doors to do his bidding. He was good too. Until a pair of blue eyes caught his attention.
She sat at the bar for a few nights, idly flirting, and always humming under her breath. One night as she was leaving the bar, and he was closing it down, he caught a whisper of her singing. He watched from the shadows as her voice seemed to slither around him, filling him with an unending want. Of course Siobhan knew he was watching, she had planned it in advance; having heard a rumor about his love for drinking songs.
The next evening he finally took the bait, asking for a 'private showcase' of her talents. He claimed he was thinking about opening a stage for live music in the bar, broadening his horizons as it were. Of course behind closed doors his hands went straight for the goods, and her blade went straight for the sweet spot.
Lure you. Catch you. Eat you. The White Siren.
How people had caught wind of this little escapade was still a mystery to Siobhan, she assumed her employer was one who liked to boast. Either way the job was done, and she mad off with a lovely stack of bills.
Siobhan, after a few more jobs, became more and more popular. In turn she became elusive, avoiding would be challengers and hiding her appearance from clients. In general she didn't want everyone in the 'verse to know who she was. She developed a 'handler' to take care of her meetings. Or at least tried to. Her handlers seemed to die off quick, perhaps it was because they went in claiming to be her...
After her fourth lost handler Sio took a short break. For about six months she simply waited, observed. But one offer kept circulating her messages. One very persistent man was demanding she work for him. Henry Vale, crime lord extraordinaire; or at least he was trying to be. Siobhan finally agreed to meet him, unimpressed with his nature and general willingness to simply be pushed out of his own seat of power. But the job he offered would pay very well.
Onas Knox. He was the job in full. Her mission was to climb aboard his operation, uncover how deep his contacts were, as well as steal any merchandise possible. But in the end she was to murder the poor sap. Sounded like a cake walk, for the most part. Sio went into the job excited for the payout. She didn't expect leaving the very same job with little to nothing but a wounded heart.
Of her own doing, at that.
Her time with Onas was short lived, but extremely intense. In the one and a half month Sio fell hard. She did her job to best of her ability, gathering pieces of the intel requested while staying under her cover. Onas trusted her, and she began to trust him. With that trust grew something far more meaningful and far more dangerous. She was growing to love the man. Knowing that they wanted him dead only made things worse, knowing she was the one who had to do it was positively heart wrenching. However among all of this it didn't take Siobhan long to realize that Vale's crew was no match for Tavores'. Still she had a job to complete, and Vale was growing impatient. He offered a bonus if she began the sabotage immediately. In fact he demanded Onas' head on a platter by the end of that week. But Sio couldn't do it. She had already fallen for him.
Instead she did the only thing she could think of, which is beg Vale to reconsider. She offered an alternative; they should flip Onas. He would be a much bigger asset to them alive, and him being Sidney's right hand man would only mean they would have a bigger advantage. She worked every angle, trying to keep Onas alive. But Vale was adamant that Onas' death was crucial, he was to die or their operation would fall. And if she didn't kill him she would not be paid for her services rendered, and he would in turn place a hit on her head as well. She agrees to kill him, but only in words. Her plan, initially, would be to continue shoveling out information for one more job. She would try and tell Onas everything... Of course that isn't how things panned out.
Around the same time of her plan Sidney had caught word of the mole among Onas' crew. He demands Onas find the mole and squash it. Onas, being clever, feeds false information to high risk targets. She, of course, was one of them. He told her that they will bribe a high ranking alliance official at designated time and place, which is an incorrect place. Watchers discover an ambush at the false location. Her information was all that leaked. The jig was up.
Sio tried to explain everything to him, but how could he believe her now? With a broken heart, and a nagging pang of guilt Sio did the only thing she could at that point. She ran. Now she has a kill order on her head from Onas, as well as Vale. Vale is more aggressive, actively searching her out, and Sio keeps sending his men back in boxes.
Sio wants to make amends with Onas, but how to do so without ending up dead. He doesn't trust her, and now that he wants her dead she doesn't trust him. But it doesn't change the fact that she still loves him.
Now Siobhan looks to the future, just trying to do her jobs without ending up in a box herself. For now money would have to fill that empty hole in her heart that she drilled all by herself.

The black door slowly creaked open, revealing a stout older man. He stared at the vivid blue eyes of Siobhan Padraigin with interest. The young woman stared back, one leg resting on his mahogany desk in a leisurely manner. He frowned, noticing she had taken his seat behind the desk. It was that frown that made Sio grin, just a little. "Your guest chairs aren very comfortable." She cooed softly, running a pale hand through platinum blond curls.
He motioned to one of the two chairs, "May I, then?" He said nervously before sitting down. He lost respect then. She wasn't fond of men who were so easily pushed aside. But her reputation for being a fantastic killer probably helped in that matter.
"So, Mistar.... Vale." She said in a thick accent. "I 'ere yer lookin' for a dead man, ah?" Sio leaned in the chair, her hands resting across her stomach. She waited patiently for Vale to continue from there. After all he had gotten ahold of her contacts not the other way around. Sio preferred going to the meet blind, only knowing what they want in the basic form. He wanted someone dead, she could provide that service quite easily.
"Ah, yes. Down to business." Vale stood, his overhanging belly shaking as if he were laughing. He dragged his aging body across the small office and removed a manila folder from between a pair of heavy leather books. As if it held something very fragile he slid it across the desk, waiting eagerly for her to look at its contents. Of course she did, pouring the contents onto the table. She stared at a picture of a handsome man, a puff of smoke surrounding him. Her mark.
"His name is Onas." He said coldly, suddenly sounding very aggressive. Obviously this Onas was quite the problem. "He's an up and coming crime lord, and I want him snuffed. His affiliation is unknown to us. We want names, contacts, everything. You'll have to infiltrate as a crew hand of some sort and go from there."
Siobhan stared at the man like he'd just been speaking a language she didn't quite comprehend. "I was told this was a 'it." She said softly, her voice purring along the edges of possible violence. But Vale nodded, rather vigorously. "Yes, it is a hit. After we have all the information we need. I also want any of his merchandise if it's possible."
A blond brow lifted as she surveyed the information with interest. This kind of job could be quite the payout, and she was really looking to upgrade her babies. "What're ye offrin, luv?" She cooed sweetly, grinning. "Cause ye should know I don't come cheap. An this kin' o'job will cost ye extra." She added, staring at the picture of this rising star of the crime world.
She'd go the easiest route with a young man. Seduction, especially if he noticed her feminine frame. If that didn't work it'd be strictly business; a gunhand perhaps. Either way she'd get into his nest. Get the goods and put a nice shiny piece of lead between those lovely eyes.
"As much as you need, I'll get it to you." He finally choked out.
Sio looked up at him, her smile widening as her head tilted just a bit. "Well now tha' is generous of ye. I do believe we 'ave an accord, luv." She purred, holding one small hand out to shake. He gingerly took it, giving her hand only a light squeeze.
With that Sio stood slowly, not wanting to spook the already seemingly spooked man, and headed for the door. "I'll get yer goodies. But ye best not 'ave 'ired another to 'elp with the job, ya?" She said sweetly. She sounded completely innocent, friendly, but underneath it all was the threat.
Sio did not play well with other mercs. If another was on the job they were in the way, and that didn't bode well with her paycheck.
So in the end they were probably just corpses.
