Overall Personality - Riley is quite a down to earth type gal. What some would consider to be the “girl next door”, even though she came from a wealthy family. She has a graceful mien. Tending to look for the best in every person, but once you break her trust it takes forever to earn it back. She can be goofy, and a bit of a flirt. Even with what she has been through, she can still be quite gullible and naïve. On occasion, Riley can be too trusting. But she doesn’t like to be manipulated.

Your History -
Riley graduated from Medical school when she as 25, much to her father’s pleasure. She then spent the next 5 years 30 working with Dr. Victor Whitcomb, on Ariel, until the days she had the misfortune to treat the wrong person. A gambler, whose name was Aristotle Ford. Unbeknownst to the rest of the family, Riley’s brother Michael was in debt to the man. It amounted to a serious amount of coin.

Upon hearing that her brother was actually willing, more than willing, to “sell” her as payment, Riley attempted to leave Ariel. Except things didn’t go as she had planned…. Michael tried to stop her, he even notified Ford of her plans.

Things went terribly wrong when Michael tried to stop her from leaving her house. He had waved Ford, who showed up before she could get out. Everything happened so fast, Michael got hurt in the fight that ensued...Aristole and Gordon shot at each other. One sustaining only an injury while the other, Riley's father was killed.

Riley was able to slip out and make it in time to the ship she had booked passage on. First she went somewhere where it was big and crowed, Persephone. She was able to blend in, and from there she hitched rides from rock to rock, trying to make herself lost. Even her account was nearly depleted.... This meant she was going to have to settle somewhere and find some work...

Roleplay Example - Had it really been a week? An actual week of staying planet-side…. Riley pulled out her personal cortex to check. But she did not realize until after she had done it, until after her fingers had taken a stroll through the news for Ariel. There was this and that… the new head of all things medical at the hospital. Then there it was. The news about what had happened at her house.

And the announcement of the death of Gordon Gayle, her father...

Riley could do nothing at first but stare at the picture they had used. It was on definitely one of her favorites. Definitely a way she would much rather remember him looking, instead of on the floor….bleeding. Quickly, she slammed the contraption shut. It would do nothing trying to relive that day and ponder over what should have gone differently.
