Peerless
Qualifications: Roger was an officer for the Commonwealth during the Red Pact War and has captained the Peerless for six years since then.
Basic Personality and Captaining Style: Roger is the kind of person that leads from the front and wouldn't ask his subordinates to do something he himself wouldn't do. He's fairly strict and expects his crew to be disciplined, but he reciprocates with fair treatment and honest wages. For those he trusts can do the job, Davis is quick to delegate responsibilities rather than hoarding control.
How You Ended Up With A Ship: The Peerless was purchased from the Syndicate in 2576 as a privateering vessel to fight in the Red Pact War. The ship was cheap, the government help subsidize the purchase, and Roger's family wealth managed to do the rest. After the war ended, Davis merely kept the ship.
Ship Name: Peerless
Ship Color Scheme: 262B40
Ship Class: Prometheus Class Heavy Transport
Ship Specifications: Found here.
Ship Layout: Found here.
Basic Ship Direction: The Peerless is a mercenary vessel that takes contracts as they come ranging from bounty hunting to security. The main Peerless plot, at least until we finish it, is to hunt down Marcus Lee, a senior officer in the massive Cobalt PMC for Onas Knox. Crew members are encouraged to create personal side missions for us to intersperse throughout our story.
Crew: 3-30 As the number suggests it's hard to give a straight answer since the Peerless is a large ship and we use NPCs to fill vacancies. Basic crew positions include: Captain, Pilot, Copilot, Shuttle Pilot, Engineer(s), Medic, Gunhand(s). More specialized jobs also exist or can be created. If you have a character idea then just ask and we'll see if it will fit.
Requirements: There is no affiliation requirement, though certain strong affiliations might cause tension (e.g. hardcore Alliance). On a less formal note, most everyone on the ship is and should be a mercenary of some sort. This is not a pleasure cruise and although we'll pick up all kinds, if you join the crew then you join the PMC.
The ship also has activity, conduct, and side plot requirements found here.
Ship Boards: Bridge, Galley/Kitchen, Common Room, Recreation Room, Medical, Core, Engineering, Brig, Cew Quarters, Range, Shuttle, Storage, Armory, Cargo Bay.
Other: Minigun with under-mounted shotgun and grenade launcher. That is all.

All quotes come from Firefly, the best Sci-fi/Western television series in the history of the world. Everything else is credited to Roger, Edi, and Onas from Dreaming of Serenity. Don't steal this template or take the credit off. If you do then we'll be forced to beat you with an Oduman until you have an intelligence defickinanctcyies. Then you won't be going OTP on the Vienna Sausage any time soon.
