Was feeling bored and creative, so suggested makin' a new banner to spruce up the site. Thing is, we need one quote-- something meaningful, something clever and more to the point something that could sum up DoS in a nutshell. I also think maybe it should be a quote from the show/film not mentioned too often. Maybe under-appreciated. Also nothing too long, or maybe a piece of a bigger quote. What I have been considerin': "So here is us, on the raggedy edge." "Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurt 'fore she keens. Makes her a home." "Don't care what you believe, just believe in it." "I'm thinkin' we'll rise again." More suggestions are welcome and needed, and I'm already anticipating the joke ones.  And this would be the banner so far. Font is kind of a place-holder seeing as I don't have many downloaded.  |

I like this idea. Gonna go ahead and say, "I'm thinkin' we'll rise again." I was like, HELL YEAH eight when I saw et.
Is there an image you can get that more represents the whole universe of Serenity, rather than the crew from the show? On some level I don't understand that I don't understand because I'm not smart enough, our current logo is suggestive of the original story only. Like, it should be about them. But our site is so much more and bigger! Is there maybe a panoramic or something? Anyway, it's an idea.

Because I can't do fancy graphics and that was the only picture I could find at the time that went well with the site's color scheme

Rise again is kinda hype haha. And as for the pictures-- I tried to encompass a bit of spread of the 'Verse, but there is only so much I can do lol. I didn't want to make it too big. And I figure this less represents the canon crew but more just kind of represents the "dream". I think I was trying to go with the site name haha. And that top picture is a stretch of Beaumonde-- 'cause it looks pretty and sci fi, but kinda junky. Bottom picture is jus' ship. Here is ship. It's pretty, there's planets, it's the 'Verse.
I'd also like to reiterate I am kinda limited on what I can do because this isn't really photoshop and like... the poor-man's online equivalent. xD

If I could widen it, I would--- buuut I'd probably have to remake it. xD Tried to squash it down as much as possible. o:

I like the content of the picture but not the quality. The color effect going on, particularly in the top, makes it look like the picture was copied from an old magazine that was left out in the rain.

I'll admit now my eyes are kind of tired, and got tired staring at it. So I'mma say Harsh!Roger's eyes are better than mine. I could try messing with the lighting/contrast a bit see if that'll help, but I kinda like that it looks a little run. But it's up there. If I do anything I'll do it tomorrow. *nods*
